Made from premium materials—and subject to numerous upgrades since its birth in 1979—this versatile outdoor patio shade provides superior protection and daytime privacy, functioning effectively as both a protective and privacy exterior sun shade.
Customized Versatility
Accent’s Patio-Pro exterior drop shade is suitable for use with stucco balconies, wood lattice covers, windows, and doors that are in need of a drop down awning. Traveling along vertical stainless steel guide wires, Patio-Pro’s fabric rolls up or down to provide excellent protection against heat, solar damage, and inclement weather. The fabric cover is also secured by a weighted bottom bar. And, unlike box and track systems, Patio-Pro can be mounted onto non-uniform surfaces like rock, brick, slanted fascia, under eaves and can even function as a window drop shade or door drop shade.

Our Patio Drop Screens Come with Optional Features
- Wind Sensors: Strong winds can potentially cause problems for your sun shades. Wind sensors can be an excellent feature to help you avoid damage. These sensors will detect when winds grow stronger and retract your Patio-Pro sun shade—which, in turn, will help protect them.
- Sun/Wind Sensors: Sun sensors can also be amazing features to add to your sun shades. These sensors can automatically detect how much sunlight is hitting an area; from there, they will automatically lower or raise your drop shades so that you can enjoy the optimal amount of shade. At Accent Awnings, we can install combined sun and wind shades for your Patio-Pro system.
- Timers: If you want to make sure that your drop shades are raised or lowered at certain points of the day, then you may want to consider getting a timer for your system. Timers can be programmed to automatically raise or lower your drop shades—even if you’re not home.
- Remote Control Systems: Remote control systems are incredibly convenient additional features that can make operating your drop shade system easier. Control your drop shade system from anywhere and enjoy the perfect amount of shade.
- Optional Hood: Adds to the aesthetic appeal of the awning and provides additional protection for the fabric when in the retracted position. See More
